I just found this website and it looks interesting. It's yet another website to get involved with your community. It's great to think of all of the simple things you can do to get involved. Even just taking shorter showers (ok I admit, I have to work on this one), Turing the water off while doing dishes, recycling more than you throw away, disinfecting even, and of course planting some small plants to help with oxygen and if you plant a tree when it gets bigger you can have great shade! You can also help the community with art and music, and theatre. You can put on plays, you can play an instrument or sing for the elderly or for young children. You can share your gifts with the world or for a start the community. You can help build for your community, by building houses, dog houses, bird houses, etc. You can always do things on-line whether it's donating, writing reports in specific areas, writing events, helping others find ways to get involved or even just reading things to do and then do them. So get involved and don't be afraid to step up!
